My goal is to give myself one compliment a day this month. I’m going to write them all down and put them in a jar. Once I’m done, I can pick one out and read it on a down day.
Sounds easy…not really.
I find it tough for a couple of reasons:
- I think I’m pretty modest. I don’t like telling other people what I’m good at or feel like I’m bragging (big downfall in an interview situation)
- I’m not overly proud of my body right now. Babies (and all the milkshakes I drank while pregnant) do a terrible thing to your body!
- I used to identify myself through my job and I’m not working for a whole year!
